We are also incorporating tepezcohuite bark into many of our new products for it's astounding ability to improve the appearance and feel of skin. Tepezcohuite Bark is antimicrobial and cell regenerative. It protects skin from aging with flavonoids, zinc, copper, manganese, iron, and magnesium. It also protects skin's naturally occurring hyaluronic acid, essential for production and retention of collagen and elastin. Tepezcohuite bark has the ability to regenerate soft tissue, treat psoriasis, eczema, and acne, and minimize scarring.
Herb Infused Oils: We've infused herbs, including tepezcohuite bark and oils to target the problems associated with each skin type. These oils work as a cleanser and a moisturizer with no added water so there is no need for chemical preservatives or emulsifiers. Oil as a cleanser? Of course...oil dissolves oil so it makes sense. It leaves the skin totally clean, free of make-up, soft, and moisturized. I came up with this idea after trying for years to find a product to combat one customers oily skin. It came to me late one sleepless night...put oils on the skin to send a signal to the body that it has enough, no need to make more. I told her to try the Nourishing Body Oil on her face. She wasn't immediately convinced but I explained my theory and, as a nurse, it made sense to her. She started using it and her skin has never been better. The next time I saw her it was clear, smooth, even-toned, and not at all oily. To use as a cleanser: Massage into dry skin for at least 30 seconds. Rinse with a warm wet wash cloth. To use as a moisturizer: Gently pat a small amount over clean, slightly moist skin to seal in moisture.

Scrub/Mask: We've created these dry scrubs/masks to exfoliate skin, draw out impurities, and alleviate the problems of each skin type, all without any preservatives or emulsifiers so you can be confident that you are getting the most natural skin care possible! These are a combination of sugars to polish and exfoliate along with a special blend of herbs, grains, oils and other natural ingredients for each skin type. We've also included clays to draw out impurities, increase circulation, and make a great facial mask. Because you add your liquid of choice at the time of use, you have even more control to customize your facial treatment for your skin's current needs. You can add one of our Herb Infused Oils, Herbal Cleansing Gel, Herbal Moisturizer, or you can use other liquids of choice for their added skin benefits (see list below). If you're less adventurous, you can even use just plain water. To use as a scrub: Mix a small amount in palm of hand with liquid of choice (see above) and massage into skin for at least 30 seconds, then rinse with warm water. To use as a mask: Mix a small amount in palm of hand with liquid of choice (again, see above) and smooth over skin leaving a thin layer to dry. Moisten with warm water and scrub into skin while rinsing to remove dead skin.

BALANCE Herb Infused Oil
Includes grapeseed oil for its astringent and toning properties, sunflower oil which is rich in vitamins A & E, and nourishing apricot kernel oil. Wheat germ oil is included for it's high protein content, and jojoba oil, for its skin-balancing properties. All of these oils are infused with astringent, softening, and toning herbs such as green tea, lavender, calendula, slippery elm, and mint.
BALANCE Scrub/Mask
Calendula is soothing and stimulates collagen production. Green Tea provides anti-oxidants. Lavender, chamomile, and fennel cleanse, soothe, and tone. Jojoba, which closely resembles skin's sebum, balances, and offers collagen-like properties. French Green Clay is antiseptic, healing, and good for all skin types. Moisten with your liquid of choice (see scrub/mask description above). Try brewed green tea for it's added anti-oxidant properties.
CLEAR
Clear products are astringent and healing for Acne-prone/Oily Skin.
CLEAR Herb Infused Oil
Grapeseed oil is antiseptic, while hazelnut oil tones and tightens and wheat germ and jojoba oils provide proteins, minerals, lecithin, and squalene for optimal skin health. Vitamin E lends it's skin healing and anti-oxidant properties. White willow bark is a source of salicylic acid which is highly effective at fighting acne. Parsley clears pores. Comfrey heals and helps prevent scarring.
CLEAR Scrub/Mask
Anti-bacterial and astringent herbs, bay leaf, comfrey, lavender cleanse and fight bacteria that cause acne. Fennel cleanses, tones, and reduces inflammation. Cranberry powder provides anti-oxidant properties. Aloe powder and tepezcohuite bark heal and soothe blemishes. Fuller's earth clay evens skin tone and stimulates circulation to speed healing. Rhassoul clay is excellent for absorbing excess oil. Moisten with one of our oils, cleansers, or moisturizers or try pineapple juice, rich in enzymes to enhance the exfoliant action.
QUENCH
Quench products are deeply moisturizing for Dry Skin.
Macadamia nut oil is nourishing, moisture retentive, and provides a smooth finish. Apricot kernel oil revitalizes and helps regulate moisture levels and avocado oil provides protein and vitamins, while deeply penetrating to heal and improve elasticity. Coconut oil forms a protective layer to retain moisture without clogging pores. Comfrey is a source of allantoin which helps speed cell renewal. Marshmallow root softens. Elder flower lightens, brightens, and softens. Aloe & hibiscus improve moisture levels.
QUENCH Scrub/Mask
Comfrey and marshmallow root soften dry skin. Chamomile and lemon verbena soothe and reduce inflammation. Honey powder provides moisture and anti-inflammatory & healing properties. Milk powder gently exfoliates. Pink clay gently draws out impurities and stimulates circulation. Moisten with one of our oils, cleansers, or moisturizers or try honey or plain yogurt to add even more moisture retentive properties.

Wheat germ oil is a great source of vitamins e, a, & d, proteins, lecithin and squalene essential for youthful skin. Comfrey is a source of allantoin which helps speed cell renewal.
